Friday 24 May:

09.00 Departure for Busseto

11.00 Arrival in Bussetto - guided tour of the birthplace of Giuseppe Verdi, universally recognised as one of the greatest opera composers of all time. His operas, performed in theatres all over the world, include Aida, Nabucco and La Traviata.

12.00 Noon at the Casa Barezzi museum, who was Verdi's patron and protector, we will listen to excerpts from his most famous operas from a soprano's voice.

13.00 Lunch at the Osteria Vecchio Mulino, created from the renovation of the 17th century mill, overlooking the courtyard of the house where Maestro Giuseppe Verdi was born. The cellars, which occupy the northern part of the building, sheltered from the sun, host cascades of Culatello di Zibello DOP produced in the pork butchery of the Dallatana family, owners of the osteria.

15.00 Departure for Cremona

16.00 Arrival in Cremona and guided tour of the city of music, with its numerous workshops of violin makers, heirs of Antonio Stradivari, the violin maker par excellence, its beautiful medieval buildings such as the Torrazzo (symbol of the city) and the Baptistery.

Saturday 25 May:

08.30 Departure for Varano de Melegari

10.30 Arrival at the Dallara Group, a company active in the design and production of racing and high performance cars. It was founded in 1972 by Eng. Gianpaolo Dallara who, after working at Ferrari, moving on to Maserati, Lamborghini (where he designed the Miura) and De Tomaso, returned to his hometown to create Dallara Automobili, which still shines in the world today. Guided tour of the company.

13.00 Lunch at Dallara and tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano di Montagna DOP, one of Italy's excellences, produced by the Caseificio Il Battistero, active since 1939.

14.00 - 15.00 At the Riccardo Paletti racetrack in Varano di Melegari.

17.00 Arrival in Cremona

20.30 Gala dinner at the Aquila Nera restaurant located inside the splendid Palazzo Trecchi, built in 1496 to be the residence of the Marquis Trecchi

Sunday 26 May:

09.00 Departure for Montichiari

10.30 Arrival in Montichiari for the re-enactment of the Brescia Montichiari International Circuit

12.30 Lunch at the Revolution restaurant, located in the historic building created in the 1930s to house the then Lancia Workshop.

Route

The HRC of Montichiari, a club federated with the Automotoclub Storico Italiano ASI and the FIVA (International Federation of Vintage Vehicles), was born with the mission of bringing back to the territory of the Montichiari moor the cars, motorcycles and planes that were protagonists of the races on the international circuit of Brescia Montichiari, where progress, the "fatal law that pushes men into a mad rush towards greater conquests" has seen one of its greatest expressions.
